Cookies & data
This site uses no cookies — so there is nothing to accept and nothing to reject. That’s why you haven’t seen a cookie banner.

The honest version
No cookies. No localStorage. No tracking pixels. No third-party embeds. Nothing is placed on your device by this site, and nothing is read from it. You can browse every page here with the strictest privacy settings available and see exactly what everyone else sees.
Why there’s no banner
Cookie banners exist because most sites place cookies and load tools from other companies. This one doesn’t. Every file the site uses — pages, styles, scripts, fonts, and images — is served from codepossum.com itself, so there is nothing to consent to. A banner here would be theatre, and we’d rather not insult your time.
What about the brief builder?
The project brief on the contact page lives in your browser’s memory only while the page is open. It isn’t saved to your device (no cookies, no localStorage), it disappears when you close or reload the page, and the only copy that persists is the one you download yourself.
What about the playful extras?
The terminal on the About page, the arcade on the 404 page, the Playground toys, the sound toggle, and the explorer’s trail all run entirely in your browser’s memory. They keep nothing, send nothing, and reset the moment you reload. The sound preference you switch on travels only in the links you click (?sound=on) — a URL you can see, edit, or ignore — never in storage.
Data we hold about you
None. There is no database behind this site, no mailing list, no CRM with your name in it — because there’s no form that submits and no account to create.
If that ever changes
If a future feature ever needed to store something on your device, this page would be updated first — and a real choice would arrive with it, before anything was used. That’s the order these things should happen in.
